Push

Thanks to Byron for sending me the link to another great artist Push. I'm crazy for the bright colors and bold black lines. You know how much I love lines and shapes! While he has plenty of acrylic on wood/canvas paintings, I'm especially transfixed with the spray painted street art on buildings. It makes me want to buy some cans of spray paint and find some empty walls!

Poppies

In-progress & finished pictures of a poppy watercolor I did a few days ago. I think I actually like it in-progress better than the final result. The lightness and layers that make watercolor so great are definitely more visible in-progress. It got too dark and heavy by the end. There will be more of these coming and with better results, I hope!

Pastel Attempts

A few of my attempts at using pastel & metalic colored pencils and triangles inspired from this. Neither one is finished because I was not lovin' them at all, but maybe they will get some more attention in the future.

Studio

Has it really already been a year since I moved out of my studio?! I miss you so much, little studio and art building. Thanks for everything that you taught me and I'm sorry I haven't been more creative and productive since I've left you. I promise the next year will be better.
