Little bits of spring popping up all over the place -- everywhere I look there's more buds on the trees, fresh little green stalks poking their heads out of the ground, gorgeous sunsets that don't start till after 7pm! And of course, a random snowfall because the only time Washington ever gets snow is in the spring, right?! ;)

Just a few of my favorite images I've seen around Instagram in the past few days and are serving as my current inspiration! I guess it means I'm missing Rome and its beautiful light, longing for spring (and longer days and new life that comes with it) as well as loving on buildings (as per usual).

Caroline Wright

Scrolling around on Pinterest, I just came across these gorgeous paintings by Caroline Wright. (All her paintings are interesting, but I'm especially drawn to the drip and line series.) I'm so inspired by her color palettes and the way she uses thin layers of paint to create so much depth. The way she handles the paint and lets the drips run down the page gives these paintings such a playful, carefree vibe which is what I think I love the most.

A Hint of Spring

There's a slight change in the air -- the promise that longer, warmer days are coming and the smallest signs of spring are popping up all around me. To be completely honest, I couldn't be more excited! 

Denim Obsession

Lately, I can't get enough denim on denim on denim. I'm completely obsessed and it's all I want to wear.  (And I need an over-sized denim vest in my life ASAP)!
