Bleach

A weekend project involving a pair of my mom's old Levi's, scissors, and a bucket of bleach. I love how they turned out, but I still want to bleach them more!

Tulips

There's something a little magical about the tulip fields. Maybe it's the stomping around in mud puddles under a giant cloud-filled sky or row after perfectly straight row of tulips in the most amazing colors. Whatever it is, I'm a huge fan. Thanks for finally arriving, spring!

Things That Make me Happy

Reading in the sun (before work & on my break), colored denim (even on my days off), tulip fields, beautiful colors, a special coffee treat, and "thank god this isn't my store" moments while shopping.

Seattle

Spent a few hours in Seattle on my day off -- met up with an old friend and took some pictures at the sculpture park!

Browsing around Pinterest, I came across a couple photos that I instantly fell completely in love with. After quickly searching him on Google, I found Matthias Heiderich's online portfolio as well as his website. SO SO SO GOOD! Every photo is better than the next.... I can't stop drooling over them!

Overdose

I've been getting killer headaches for the past few days and I'm 99.9% sure it's from too much coffee. Oops. I guess that means I should cut back, but it's going to be an interesting change. On a more positive note, Instagram is now available for Androids!! Finally! And I'm already completely obsessed!

University of Washington

Took a quick trip to UW this morning, originally to take pictures of the cherry trees in the quad which are in full bloom, but I ended up taking just as many pictures of the buildings. Even though I spent three years walking around that campus, I don't think I ever appreciated the beauty, design, and detail of the architecture as much as I did today. Although it could be influenced by the fact I realized today how much I love and miss that amazing place.
